After 25 years of painting images of pop culture… My 25 years of work is about to be BAPTIZED - BORN AGAIN. From here on out I will only be creating paintings that glorify our Lord and powerful images that tell deep Biblical stories. NO MORE FALSE IDOLS and THINGS OF THE WORLD/FLESH. Unveiling in September 2026 will be a (12) 30” x 40” painting series that includes a (7) Painting Archangel Series and (5) Jesus Paintings. As well as a 30” x 48” Archangel Michael created with Bible page background (Archangel Series 2) and a 24” x 30 Micrography Art created with Bible Scripture to introduce the next series that is in the works.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS
These paintings can take up to hundreds of hours to complete. For the Bible page background paintings it’s starts with cutting Bible scriptures out that relate to the painting that is being created. lots of hours soaking them in coffee to antique them, drying/cleaning each page, then gluing and sealing them down to the canvas. Every painting image is created by HAND CUTTING each color layer out (stenciling) and then sprayed down like a puzzle to create the image. The final stages are hand detailing (painting) the entire image to make it absolutely perfect and adding the glass like resin coat for a powerful gallery look.
